Anam is the Irish word for soul. Aloha is the Hawaiian word for love, compassion, and the breath of life. Together they name what I create in every session: a place where the soul is held in love.
Lomilomi is a Hawaiian healing art. It is not a technique, it is a way of being with another person's body present, unhurried, listening deeply. The strokes move like ocean waves. The work goes where it is needed. Nothing is forced.

During a session, you may hear me sing.
Not as background. Not as performance. As part of the healing itself, a second form of presence moving through the air at the same time as my hands move through tissue.
In the Irish tradition, the voice carries what words cannot. In the Hawaiian tradition, the healer chants to call the work into being. I was a singer before I was a lomilomi practitioner. When the two practices met, they recognised each other.

Why Anam Aloha
Your body carries more than you realise.
Stress lives in the shoulders. Grief settles in the chest. Old decisions accumulate in places you have stopped paying attention to. Lomilomi works gently and deeply through all of it not by fixing, but by accompanying. By holding you completely while the body does what it already knows how to do.
At Anam Aloha, every session is one person at a time, by appointment only. There is no rush here. There is no protocol. There is only the work, and what you need from it.
